A total of 875 residents of Dinalupihan will benefit from Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through the initiative of Bataan 3rd District Representative Gila Garcia.
An orientation for beneficiaries was held on June 19 at the Dinalupihan Civic Center attended by the congresswoman. Rep. Garcia in her message during the event relayed the importance of environmental protection through her initiated “Trash to Cash Back” project. “The project not only provides temporary livelihood but also promotes a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment,” she said. The project integrates proper waste management into the beneficiaries’ work activities, contributing to both income and ecological care.
